The Epson WF 7510 printer uses cyan, magenta, yellow, and black cartridges for printing. Epson doesn’t support the non-Epson brand or paper type. This printer also supports mobile printing. Below are the detailed steps for Epson Wf 7510 Setup for the first time.

Unpack the printer

  •   Take the Epson WF 7510 printer out of the box and ensure that all the essential contents are inside the box.
  •   Remove the protective materials from the outside and inside of the printer.

Power up your computer

  •   Plug the printer’s power cable into an electrical outlet.
  •   Open the control panel by squeezing the release bar.
  •   Press the On button to power up your printer.

Specify the initial settings

  •   Select your language using the up or down arrow button and then press the OK button.
  •   Specify your country/region and press the OK button.
  •   Set the date format and time format.
  •   Press the OK button to continue.

Install the ink cartridges

  •   Raise the scanner unit and cartridge cover.
  •   Take out one of the ink cartridges and shake it well five times. 
  •   Unpack the ink cartridge and peel off the yellow tape.
  •   Install the unpacked ink cartridge in its holder.
  •   Repeat the procedure to install the remaining ink cartridges.
  •   Lower the cartridge cover followed by the scanner unit.

Ink charging

  •   To charge the ink delivery system, press the OK button.
  •   Note: It takes about five minutes.
  •   When you see the Wi-Fi Setup screen, do not press any buttons and carry out the following steps.

Load paper

  •   Remove the paper cassette from the printer and move the edge guides outwards.
  •   Load enough paper into the paper cassette and align the edge guides.
  •   Insert the paper cassette into the printer and pull out the output tray.

Fax line connection

  •   Use a phone cord for establishing a connection between a telephone wall jack and the printer’s LINE port.
  •   Connect a telephone or answering machine to the printer’s EXT port.

Install the software

Download the Epson WF 7510 printer software and install it on your computer.

Epson Wf 7510 Wireless Setup

  •   Press the Setup button on the printer’s control panel.
  •   Select Wi-Fi/Network Settings -> Wi-Fi Setup -> Wi-Fi Setup Wizard and press the OK button.
  •   The LCD screen will show a list of available wireless network names. Choose your SSID.
  •   Note: To enter your SSID manually or if your router does not broadcast the SSID, select the Other SSIDs option and press OK. Enter the correct SSID using the displayed keypad.
  •   Use the displayed keypad to type your password or wireless network key.
  •   After entering the wireless network information, select the Done option and press OK.
  •   To confirm the entered details, press the OK button.
  •   If needed, print a network setup report. To do this, select the Yes option and press the OK button. 
  •   If you do not want to print a network setup report, select the No option.
  •   To exit the wireless setup, press the Back button.
  •   Ensure that the Wi-Fi LED on the printer’s control panel stays lit.

Airprint Setup

  •   Connect the Epson WF 7510 printer and your Apple device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch) to the same network.
  •   Open the photo to print, tap the Share icon at the bottom, and select the Print option.
  •   Once you tap Select Printer, choose your printer.
  •   Specify the print copies and tap Print.

Printer Troubleshooting

You can quickly troubleshoot the printer problems by checking the LCD screen’s error messages. A few of the commonly occurring error messages and their solution are provided below for your reference. If needed, you can get help from our technical experts.

LCD screen message 1 – Paper out

  •   The Paper out error message occurs when there is no paper in the paper cassette.
  •   To resolve the Paper out error message, pull out the paper cassette and load enough paper into it.
  •   Align the edge guides and insert the paper cassette into the printer.

LCD screen message 2 – Paper jam

  •   Locate the jammed paper, hold it, and remove it from the printer.
  •   Press either the Start or On button on the printer’s control panel as per the LCD panel instructions.

Turn off the Epson WF 7510 printer and contact the Epson support team.

LCD screen message 4 – Communication error

  •   Check if your printer is connected to your computer.
  •   Make sure the correct printer software is installed on the computer.
  •   If necessary, re-establish the connection between the printer and the computer.

  •   Connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable.
  •   Now, retry to update the printer’s firmware.
